Sabo Music Media is pleased to announce the Scarborough based rock band, This House We Built, as a new client for content editing and social media management. Having met the band at their first ever gig back in 2022 at Rockmantic Blackpool, we've watched them go from strength to strength; playing some crazy festivals and shows, releasing some banging tunes, receieving awards and praise from their fans and communities, whilst also being loveable rogues, that have made their mark on the rock scene.
Taking influence from legends such as Little Angels, Tyketto, Black Sabbath, Whitesnake, Bon Jovi and Skid Row; they independently released their debut self-titled album in October 2022 which includes the killer singles "Fairweather Friend", "Walk The Line" and "Nobody's Fool". The album is laden with hooky riffs and catchy vocal lines, anthemic sing-along choruses, with a hard-hitting sound that has rightly-so, garnered glowing reviews:
"This will leave listeners grinning from ear to ear" - Classic Rock Magazine.
"This is one of those albums that makes you sit up and take notice" - Fireworks Magazine.
"These ten tracks are definitely all killer, no filler" - Planetmosh.
The Scarborough lads have kept themselves busy in the last three years; playing headline shows in iconic venues across the UK as well as infront of huge crowds on main stage festival lineups and supporting some big names live including FM, Phil Campbell & The Bastard Sons, Cassidy Paris, Danny Vaughn and Tyketto. In November 2023, they released a cover version of John Farnham's, "You're The Voice". The cover features Danny Vaughn and is a staple at their live shows.
"The album does what I love most in all truly classic albums: it takes you on a journey of a variety of emotions and styles. I have every confidence that they are going to make a serious impact on the UK rock scene." - Danny Vaughn (Tyketto).
Since then, they've been working away on their second album, raising over £6,000 from supporters via crowdfunding. They've released two singles from the forthcoming record; the powerfully punchy, "Addiction", and the uplifting power-ballad, "Coming Home To You". The influences on the band are clear, with both tracks featuring elements of huge 80's rock anthems, as well as the heavier sound of 00's metal, all with a modern, tight production.
They've got some rather excting tour dates coming up this autumn and winter, including playing the after party at Rockin' The Bowl in Sheffield, supporting Kira Mac in Wakefield, headlining Rockmantic, Grimsby as well as their much anticipated homecoming show with Tom Killner, She Burns Red, and, Pryma in November.

We can't wait to get to work on creating some exciting content for This House We Built as well as helping them build their social media channels... watch this space, and maybe catch you at a show!
Keep it SABO!
